Pine Ridge Inn - Quiet BreakfastQuiet dining periods are designated for the enjoyment of both couples and families. The first hour of breakfast each day is considered "quiet" breakfast, so children are more than welcome to attend with their families after the 1st hour.

We are happy to cater to any dietary restriction or allergies. Please inform the front desk at the time of reservation or at least 24 hours prior to your arrival.

   Lobby Cookies:

Homemade cookies, made fresh daily, in the lobby with seasonal beverage of hot-spiced cider, chilled lemonade or fresh brewed ice tea.

Wine Social

Wine Social: Join us each evening between 5 pm and 6 pm to unwind from the day and gear up for the evening. Wine and microbrew tasting and seasonal snacks.

Below you will find a selection of recipes for tasty treats that you can enjoy at our Inn and your home!

Oregon Buttermilk Pancakes Print this Recipe - Courtesy of Pine Ridge Inn

2 1/2 cups flour

2 T baking Soda

1 T salt

2 cups sour cream

4 t vanilla
¼ cup sugar

2 T baking powder

2 cups buttermilk

2 large eggs

3 T unsalted butter melted



Whisk first five ingredients together; whisk buttermilk, sour cream, eggs, and vanilla in another large bowl. Add dry ingredients and stir until just blended but still lumpy. Do not overmix or pancakes will be tough.

Cook over medium heat on a slightly greased skillet. Makes enough for twenty.

Serve with warm blueberry or apple compote, or syrups of your choice.

1 cup vegetable shortening

1 t baking soda

1 cup sugar

1 t salt

1 cup packed brown sugar

3 cups oats

2 eggs

1 cup sliced almonds

1 t vanilla extract

1 cup shredded coconut

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour




Makes 4 to 5 dozen

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease about 4 cookie sheets. Beat shortening and sugars together until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to shortening mixture; mix well. Stir in oats, almonds, and coconut.

Roll dough into balls. Place 2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets. Flatten with fork.

Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Let stand one minute before removing to cooling racks.
